Consent Agenda Highlights
The Board approved the consent agenda, which included:
- Minutes from the August 4 board work session and regular meeting
- Financial reports and bills recommended for payment
- Personnel recommendations including new hires for bus monitor, bus driver, assistant music director, and assistant girls swim coaches
- Salary schedule movements, miscellaneous contracts, gifts, grants, and fundraisers

- Curriculum Report: Dr. Lisa Hartman shared updates on mentor training, paraeducator conference, and new teacher orientation.

Discussion & Approvals
Conference Realignment:
The Board discussed survey results and pros and cons regarding joining the Missouri River Activities Conference (MRC). The Board approved accepting the invitation to join MRC starting in either the 2026-27 or 2027-28 school year.

CB Consortium Agreement:
Approved the therapeutic schools consortium agreement with Council Bluffs Community Schools to allow district access to open seats in programs

Summer 2026 Middle School Parking Lot Design:
Approved the design fee proposal from Lamp Rynearson for the parking lot replacement project totaling $82,000
