We are always looking for individuals who are willing to step in and support our students and staff, whether as certified substitute teachers, paraeducators, Nutrition Services staff, or in other key roles. Substituting offers flexibility to fit your schedule, while giving you the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students and in our community.

How to become an LC substitute
Certified (Teacher) Substitutes
- You must have a current teaching license, a substitute license, or substitute authorization through the Iowa Board of Education Examiners in place before we will be able to add you to the substitute list. Please make sure you have received confirmation from the Iowa BOEE that you have been issued your license or authorization before applying. Please go to https://boee.iowa.gov/ for more information on how to obtain one of these licenses.
