Congrats to LCHS Cheerleaders Making 2025-2026 Iowa All-State Squad!

We are thrilled to announce that Addie Taylor, Evie Hytrek, Lindsey Hartley, and London Wright have earned spots on the prestigious Iowa All-State Cheerleading Squad for the 2025-2026 season! This elite team, sponsored by ICCA and IHSAA, brings together the top high school cheerleaders from across Iowa.
Each year, any high school cheerleader from an ICCA member team can audition in October. Candidates are judged on motions, jumps, dance, and tumbling skills. From these talented tryouts, a select group of 20-45 cheerleaders is chosen to form the All-State team.
The squad then practices with a choreographer on four Sundays from January to March, culminating in a special performance during halftime of two Friday games at the IHSAA Boys State Basketball Tournament. The final performance is televised, and team members receive medals in recognition of their outstanding achievement.
