LCHS Named PLTW Distinguished High School

We are thrilled to announce that Lewis Central High School has been recognized as a PLTW Distinguished High School for the 7th consecutive year!
LCHS is part of an elite group of high schools across the U.S. to receive this honor. This designation celebrates our unwavering commitment to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in career-connected learning.
To earn this honor, LCHS met rigorous criteria focused on expanding student opportunities. This included maintaining a high number of PLTW courses available to students, achieving strong overall enrollment in the program, and seeing a high percentage of students go above and beyond by taking more than one PLTW course.
This milestone is a direct reflection of the dedication and passion of our incredible PLTW teachers. Their hard work ensures our students are equipped with the real-world skills needed to thrive in their future careers.
