Students Get Hands-On Experience Touring New Safety Vestibule Construction Site
Posted October 13, 2025
Last week, high school students from our construction, civil engineering, and architecture programs had a unique opportunity to tour the construction site of our new safety vestibule and administrative offices. The tour was guided by Elevate Construction, the team leading this important project.
This safety initiative is part of the $30 million bond passed by our community last November, reflecting our shared commitment to improving school safety and facilities. The new addition and the renovation of our general offices will create a secure and efficient new entrance and exit for students and guests.
Key improvements include building a new safety vestibule, relocating security personnel to the front of the building with clear views of the parking lot, moving principals’ offices to this welcoming area, and expanding the nurse’s office to include a shower facility for students in need.
Currently, Elevate Construction is focused on the exterior addition, with interior renovations of the offices planned for the summer of 2026. We sincerely thank Elevate Construction for taking the time to engage with our students and share insights into the construction process. This hands-on experience is invaluable for inspiring the next generation of builders, engineers, and architects.
