Titan Hill Shines in HyVee KidsFit “Mission to Move” Challenge

Posted November 10, 2025
Last week Titan Hill students showed what teamwork, energy, and healthy habits look like in action. Mrs. Kerber’s 2nd grade class earned an impressive third-place finish in the HyVee KidsFit “Mission to Move” Challenge — a five-day classroom competition that encouraged students to track how much they moved each day.
The challenge wasn’t just about winning; it was about building momentum. Students logged their activities, cheered each other on, and learned simple ways to add more movement into their day. Seeing that effort pay off was a joy for the whole school.
To celebrate the entire school, HyVee KidsFit surprised Titan Hill with healthy snacks, a KidsFit recess kit stocked with new sports balls, and a lively assembly designed to get everyone moving. The assembly was full of motivation, prizes, and easy exercises that had students laughing and active together.
Mrs. Kerber’s class received special recognition for placing third: each student was gifted a HyVee KidsFit jersey. It was a proud moment for the winners — and an inspiring reminder that small daily choices add up.
Thanks to HyVee KidsFit for supporting student health and to our staff and families for encouraging students to make movement a fun, regular part of the school day. Congratulations to Mrs. Kerber’s class and to all Titan Hill students for making the Mission to Move a success!
